How I can help?

Thriving through change

Even prior to 2020 most organisations were operating in an environment where change is constant. Helping individuals thrive under these conditions is paramount to keep abreast of market dynamics, implement successful change initiatives and maintain the health and well-being of our business’ key asset (our employees and ourselves). But thriving in change is as much about our mindset than the change itself. Using insights from psychology and neuroscience, over the years I have helped clients learn valuable tools and gain key insights, keeping them in the right mindset to prosper in times of personal and professional change.

Leadership

Moving from a managerial to a leadership position requires new ways of thinking, new ways of working and new skills. Old habits and beliefs may no longer serve us well moving forward. Here executive coaching can be an essential tool in helping clients move to the next step in their careers, gaining key insights around how best to operate as a leader rather than a manager, and embedding these to ensure future success.

Time management

2020 pushed the issue of time management even more to the forefront. And with so many of us working from home, the boundary between our work and personal lives has become ever more blurred. Trying to fit more and more into a limited space of time often results in vital ‘down-time’ being squeezed, time neurologically required to allow our brains to reflect and gain key insights. Being able to talk through these issues in a solution focused coaching conversation can really help open up new, more effective and efficient, ways of working and redirect clients to help unload the burden.

Finding the right career

Whether you are at looking to step onto the first rung of the career ladder, move up or change direction completely, career coaching can help clarify values and goals, gaining insight on which direction to move and how to get there…and I will support you along the way. In the past I have help clients looking to start new businesses, move to the next level in their career or those who are unsure they are on the right career path altogether. At the heart of this work is creating self-awareness and widening our focus beyond the constraints of the here and now.

Returning to work

From a personal perspective I understand how daunting it can be to return to the workplace after a career break. Low self-confidence, often accompanied by a change in what we are looking for from work, can be a major hurdle to overcome. Coaching can help clients looking to return to work, bring clarity to ALL their options, both inside and outside the box, working through how these fit with current values and understanding any blocks that might hold them back.

Workshops and facilitated events

In recent years I have delivered workshops in over 100 different workplaces in areas ranging from adapting to change, management and leadership skills, dealing with challenging individuals and improving customer service. I have also ran facilitated strategic planning workshops drawing on insights from coaching and 15 years consultancy experience to help organisational boards to form a vision about their future goals.
